Natalie D. Garry, RN, NP, studied at Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She received her nursing degree 38 years and, in 1999, she became certified as a nurse practitioner (NP-C). Natalie remains active in her challenging specialty as a member of the American Geriatrics Society, the Texas Nurses Association, and the Texas Nurse Practitioners Association. Natalie also works on a side project with the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation that already concretized in a medical trip to Honduras in 2013. She plans another trip to Panama in 2015 and 2016. This particular project entails volunteers working together to build a modular clinic in Texas and having the pre-fab materials shipped in containers to Panama in order to quickly and efficiently build a much needed clinic for the impoverished citizens.
